Abstract Art

Abstract art uses the "language" of shape, form and color in order to create an independent piece, which isn't bound by a real reference in the world. Originating by the end of the 19th century, when many artists sought to create a new type of art - one which would reflect the changes taking place in science, technology and philosophy.
